Most job seekers are not completely adept at knowing how to obtain that “next good position.” They work “hard,” but not nearly as “smart” as needed in today’s rapidly changing employment market. They set themselves up for rejection, failure & discouragement.
This workshop will give the participants an advantage in this highly competitive employment market compared to non-participants. They will:
-
Understand & learn how to more effectively deal with the current employment situation
-
Learn how to construct a more effective resume
-
Be able to better assess themselves & “package their product”
-
Develop a more effective marketing strategy & take action accordingly
-
Learn how to sit for a better interview
- Know how to better set up & manage their campaign, negotiate & make decisions
This is a fast paced workshop with a lot of interaction & participation!
The GOAL of the workshop is to provide each participant with a COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE in the employment market place as compared with other job seekers who do not attend.
NOTE: This
workshop is a free public service offered by the MOUNTAIN ISLAND CHURCH
OF CHRIST in order to assist those who may be un-employed or under-employed.
There is no guarantee of obtaining employment expressed or implied.
This is NOT a JOB FAIR and no employers will be present.
