Our Sins He Remembers No More

There are many blessings of the Christian life. Yet this must be right at the top. God will remember our sins no more, once He has forgiven them (Acts 2:38; I John 1:9; Heb. 8:12).

Think about it. God will not hold ANY sin against us that He has forgiven! NO SIN!!!

It does not matter what you have done. God looks at you as though you had never done the heinous deed, once He forgives you.

See why the gospel is Good News? Only the Christian gets that forgiveness, that blessing. Every sinner who dies outside of Christ is lost to God in his sins. A most horrible, terrifying fate, indeed! But when one becomes a Christian, one finds in the grace of God and the blood of Jesus perfect cleansing (Heb. 9:13, 14). The Christian is justified, acquitted. Whatever you have done, it is gone from God’s memory. And then, whenever the Christian stumbles, he need only repent and confess it to God, and it is gone! Oh, what treasure this is for the weary soul! What a path to peace and joy that no one can take away!

And the promise is vouchsafed by the word of God Himself. Your future is secure with His assurance (Heb. 6:13-20).
Now with such love given to us, how could we misuse it to continue in sin? God is gracious beyond scope, but He will not be mocked (Gal. 6:7-9). His love is to bring us out of sin (II Pet. 1:1-11).

"For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and
their lawless deeds I will remember no more,'' (Heb. 8:12).

Believe it and enjoy it, beloved!
