What the Lord Says about Soul Winning
30. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise, (Prov. 11).
3. Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever, (Dan. 12).
18. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through
Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
19. that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself,
not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word
of reconciliation.
20. Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading
through us, (II Cor. 5).
4. Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word, (Acts 8).
5. For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power,
and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind
of men we were among you for your sake.
6. And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the
word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit,
7. so that you became examples to all in Macedonia and Achaia who believe.
8. For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth; not only in
Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God
has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything, (I Thess. 1).
5. Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
6. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you
may know how you ought to answer each one, (Col. 4).
14. But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are
blessed.
"And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.''
15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to
give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is
in you, with meekness and fear;
16. having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers,
those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed, (I Pet.
3).
2. Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest,” (Luke 10).
